A scrumptious bundle of three Merit Toys, designed for nursery aged children, in bright colours with added rattle function. There are two which are designed to fix by the power of suction to a table or high chair rest-they still affix! I would think they are late 50’s or 60’s. The other is not marked as Merit but i’d suggest it is a more recent pram activity string (70’s) in a different colourway but with similarly shaped beads. These items are treasures to me-colourful, appealing and playful yet they make no jarring electronic sounds. I prefer bygone baby toys personally and have a bit of a habit of collecting them! Maybe you do too! They have been washed and are in nice vintage condition.
