This box has been through the wars a little but the surprise upon opening remains intact! The shiny golden crickets sit upon green leaves which are set upon springs. Give the box a wiggle and the crickets appear (with some imagination necessary) to ‘fight’. Their feelers and front legs get all up in each others faces as they wobble about. A charming little ‘toy’ from a time when we were pleased with simpler delights. There is a tear on the inside of the lid and the sign of a ribbon that used to be present. There is a little wear to the outside of the box. The crickets are intact. A great stocking filler surprise! Box measures 10.5 × 6 × 4 cm..Weighs 37 grams.
