Roy Stringfellow Artists Tile
A delightful tile trivet with wooden surround depicting a small village harbour scene, likely in Cornwall, given that this print comes signed by the late much celebrated artist Roy Stringfellow (no relation to Peter as far as I can establish!) Probably designed as a pot rest or trivet, in my opinion it is too lovely to cover up with a teapot or pan and ought to be displayed. It measures approx. 7 inches square, with the tile being about 6.5 inches square. It has a cork underside.
It sits quite loosely in its frame and could do with re-grouting in the future. It has minor wear otherwise from use but still remains a beauty.
